People wishing to submit specimens for sale
should contact me as soon as possible at 619 204-4138. Items will only be accepted
which are deemed to hold appeal to the collecting community and which have modest reserves/minimums or no minimum.

Buyers' Premium is 7.5 % (FAR below the 15% to 25% norm). - There will be a 5% processing fee for use of Visa or Mastercard
(Or, if you prefer, there is a 12.5% buyer's premium with a 5% discount for payment by cash or check.

- Those who bring their item(s) unannounced the day of the auction  between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM 20% of sale price

- Anyone bringing their item(s) to the auction after 6:30 PM will pay an additional 5% whatever their category, and those showing up
unannounced after 7PM will pay another additional 5% Those who bring their item to the auction after 7:15 pay yet another 5%
-
NOTE: I may or may not "negotiate" a lower fee for some sellers based  on my perception of the desirability and /or value of (a) given
item(s)  and whether or not they are offering them at "NO MINIMUM."
as little as 12.5% MAY be negotiated for very high end items
with no minimum.
This is entirely at my discression.

The seller, not the auctioneer is responsible for all items left until the auctioneer says "SOLD" on any given item. At that point, the
auctioneer is responsible. (I do provide 4 large glass lidded boxes that would make theft very dificult, but you may want to keep an
eye on your own pieces.

BOOKS:

Geoff Notkin will be offering the just released book,
THE OSCAR E. MONNIG METEORITE COLLECTION CATALOG
Jim Schwade will again be offering his splendid book, THE SCHWADE
METEORITE COLLECTION for sale. This is a fabulous book with loads and loads
of spectacular specimen photographs.
Hopefully, Mike and Bill Jensen & Anne Black co-authors of METEORITES A to Z
will be offering their LATEST EDITION, which has vastly more locations
than the 1st edition listed as well as other convenient updates.
Unfortunately, noted author, O. Richard Norton and his wife, Dorothy will not be making
the Tucson Show this year. May their adventures be fruitful.

********************************************
EVERYONE TAKE NOTE:
- People "cash out" in the order they register for a bid card (We will have 2 people "cashing out" this year. For those wanting only
one or two items, you may cash out during the auction.
-ABSOLUTELY NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO REGISTER FOR ANOTHER BIDDER.
However, I will be attempting to have TWO people cashing out everyone and one DURING the auction for those who were interested
in only one or two items. You MUST fill out a card when registering for your bidding number listing your  RESALE NUMBER if you
have one, or stating you sell Meteorites (even if only rarely on eBay) (Some states an/or countries do not have a resale number)

I only require 2 things:
1) I ask that everyone just buying arrive between 5:30 & 7:00 to pre-registerto get a bid number & examine specimens that will be offered
(& take advantageto meet “old friends” you only know by e-mail address! and "have a cold one" if you so choose - or, in Rob's case, a
warm one. Twink will be serving her "Gold Basin Birthday Cake" before the bidding (Thanks, Twink!)
2) The VFW has a full bar on site as well as sandwitches, etc. However, please drink responsibly and have a designated driver.

As for "jump bidding" - in the past, a jump bid required the next  Bid to be as large - however, this ended up being unfair to the sellers,
As several people managed to "shut down" bidding with this strategy, with the result being the seller got far less than the item would otherwise
have brought. So, you can still "jump bid" but the next bid will be the normal increment for that level.

- There will be a uniformed guard to facilitate security . If you are interested in being paid to help out with the  clerking of the auction, please
contact me directly.

It is my intention to retain the open atmosphere which has characterized my auctions since the beginning.
This year's auction promises to be the best to date!
