Donated by Geoff and Steve. The proceeds from the sale of this lot will be donated
directly to the IMCA . The ultimate "Meteorite Men" collectibles set!
1) Geoff's actual rock hammer as used in "Meteorite Men" Season Two
Episodes 2, 3, 4, and 5 (Chile #1, Chile #2, Utah Fireball, Wisconsin Fireball).
This was the only rock hammer Geoff used on these expeditions, and it seen
onscreen in all four episodes. Two rare earth magnets are attached which were
also used on-screen. The hammer comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed
by Geoff.
2) "Meteorite Men" coaster. These coasters were made by Science Channel for the
Science Channel bar at Discovery Networks' private 25th Anniversary party. These
coasters were an in-house promo item and are not available for sale anywhere.
3) "Meteorite Men" badge signed by Steve and Geoff. These badges were made by
Science Channel as a giveaway for the First Annual USA Science and Engineering
Festival in Washington, D.C. and are not available for sale anywhere.

*Four Chilean meteorites found while filming "Meteorite Men."
This is the only time one meteorite from each of the four Chile expeditions has been
offered at one time, and this is the FIRST piece of Steve's San Juan find ever offered
for sale. Each comes with a "Meteorite Men" specimen ID card verifying that it was
found while filming the show:
6) San Juan XXX (Chile) Part slice with fusion crust 3.4 grams in Riker mount.
Classified L5 by Dr. Mike Zolensky at NASA. Awaiting allocation of name. Possibly
paired with San Juan 001.
7) Vaca Muerta Fragment in Riker mount 8.3 grams.
8) Monturaqui Weathered "shale" fragment 1.0 grams in Riker mount. Only ~4 kg of
this extremely rare iron have been recovered. It is all that remains of the impactor that
formed the Mounturaqui Crater 100,000 years ago.
